We are in the mid of the year and talking about the best smartphones in 2021, many have been launched, and many are yet to come. But its has been an exciting year inthe technology world. With Apple launching many devices and updates, especially access to privacy settings and google, it now seems to follow up the same privacy settings on its devices. Android also updated its so called Android 12, where the whole user interface is customizable, Which is cool. Overall its a giving back the power to the consumer where is should be in the first place. So it is exciting to see how smartphones are coping with the shifting landscape and upgrading their technology to match up with software updates. So let’s get down to our
List of best smartphones in 2021
No. 8: OnePlus 9 Pro
Oppo and OnePlus are both partner companies, so there are many similarities, especially at the front. They look almost identical. This is not a problem; however, it snatches away the uniqueness from both. Both displays have 120 hertz, which is very good. However, the Oppo Find X3 Pro is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 9 Pro. You don’t lose out on much. The box comes with a premium-built Warp Charge 65T and support for wireless charging 50T. Although the internals of the OnePlus 9 Pro are similar to other flagships, OxygenOS makes it very fast and smooth. The OnePlus 9 Pro will record 8K with both the ultra-wide and primary cameras. We have also made significant improvements to the cameras.
We also have the Hasselblad massive partnership, which I believe didn’t live up to its hype. Although the cameras have improved over time with software updates, I still believe that the Hasselblad partnership will be visible a few more years down the road. The front-facing camera, which is 1080p, is not as good as the Find X3 Pro’s, but overall the package is great.
No. 7: Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
Xiaomi MI 11 ultra has one of today’s best displays. This display has 1700 nits and is one of the most brilliant on the market. It has a 120-hertz refresh speed and 480-hertz touch sampling. It has a premium ceramic build. It supports 67 watts of wired charging. However, it also supports 67-watt wireless charging. This is some of the fastest wireless charging available. A secondary display is also available on the back that can be used to view the rear-facing camera. This allows you to take high-quality selfies. The cameras did not live up to the hype. They have improved over time, but we think that the 120X at its back on a zoom camera with only five times optical zoom was poor marketing. The Zoom is good but not as great as the zoom on the S21 Ultra.
No. 6: Asus Zenfone8
The best Android smartphone. This was a surprise for Asus. We’ve always had the flip, and we still have it, but the Zenfone 8 was, for me, a much more affordable device with all the internals that you would find on any other flagship. There aren’t many compromises. It has a 120-hertz display. The battery is a respectable 4,000mah with 30-watt charging and a 3.5-millimeter jack, which you won’t find on any other smartphone in this category. It’s quite impressive. It doesn’t come with wireless charging so that it can feel basic. Although it doesn’t have many bells and whistles, the Asus Zenfone 8 is a great choice if you want a small flagship smartphone. The Asus Zenfone Flip allows you to use your rear-facing cameras as front cameras. It also records 8K video. It’s a great smartphone overall.
No. 5: Vivo X60 Pro
The X60 Pro Plus is also available. These are very promising devices. Let’s not forget about the budget options available this year, such as the Realme 8 Pro, which we were impressed with. The box comes with a 108-megapixel camera and 50-watt dock charging. All this for less than 300 pounds. The Poco F3 also came with the Qualcomm Snapdragon870 processor and 120-hertz refresh rate. It was again around 300 pounds. The Infinix Note 10 Pro retails at 259 dollars and has 256 gigabytes storage, 8 gigabytes storage RAM, and a 90-hertz screen.
No. 4: Samsung galaxy Zed Fold 3
The Samsung galaxy Zed Fold 3 won’t be as popular as other phones on this list, but it is more interesting than many of them. The future is foldable phones, and the Samsung galaxy Zed Fold 3 may be released in June 2021. Rumors suggest that it will support Samsung’s S-pen stylus, have an in-screen cam, and have an RGB strip on the hinge. The Samsung galaxy Zed Fold 3 didn’t make it to the Galaxy s 21 launches in January nor the unpacked event that revealed the mid-range Galaxy A525g in March, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t coming. Samsung’s next big folding phone will be out soon, but we might have to wait. There have been rumors about the Samsung galaxy Zed Fold 3 for some time now.
We suspect that it is in development and will be Samsung’s next best-selling foldable phone. There are a few rumors that the Samsung galaxy Zed Fold 3 could have different capabilities and features. The s pen is one of these rumors. The same stylus is found in the Samsung Galaxy Tab s7 plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 family. A patent also suggests that the s pen may be coming to the Zfold 3, although another report suggests that some display changes may be necessary to enable stylus functionality. Samsung could switch from active electrostatic solution to electromagnetic resonance screen technology to better register stylus input.
No. 3: Oppo Find X3 Pro
The Oppo Find X3 Pro’s display is excellent. Our overall cameras are excellent with 50 MP(wide),13 MP (telephoto), 50 MP (ultrawide),3 MP (microscope). What’s more, we have the same sensor as the primary and ultra-wide cameras. This is something that you won’t find on other devices. We also have the first smartphone microscope camera. It’s so much fun to get close to things with a camera and see the details. The box also includes 65-watt charging and 35-watt wireless charging. It’s compact enough to be a full-size flagship. It is only 8.26mm thin. This makes it lighter and easier to use than other flagships.
It’s not perfect. There is room for improvement. The selfie camera could use some improvement with 32 MP, 26mm (wide), (Panorama); it’s only 1080p. And the design is very similar to that of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Although the camera module’s rise looks unique, it still feels like the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It is slightly more expensive than the next smartphone on this list, particularly when considering its features.
No. 2: Samsung S21 Ultra
The S21 Ultra was released very early in the year and has been the Android phone that lives up to its name. Samsung listened to a lot from the users about the S20 Ultra, and it pretty much accomplished everything that we asked for. We now have a great display with 120 hertz. This smartphone has a unique design that we haven’t seen on any other smartphone. The camera module blends into the sides. The matte black version is especially impressive. Overall, cameras are excellent and have the best zoom available on smartphones right now. You can extend the zoom to 10x.
The box no longer includes a charger, which is not great for a smartphone at this price and which we think is a gimmick by big companies to save a ton of money in the name of saving the enviorment(which, BTW, is another gimmick). The charging speed is not the best. The wired charging takes 25 watts. We also no longer have a MicroSD slot. This is something that many people have grown to expect from Samsung Galaxy phones. It’s still an excellent smartphone.
No. 1: iPhone 13
There could be some big upgrades for these new models with high refresh rate screens, one terabyte of storage, in-screen fingerprint scanners and a smaller notch, all rumored. The iPhone 13 range is undoubtedly the most highly anticipated range of upcoming phones but is rather long to wait for them as they probably won’t land until September. It will be upgraded with a feature that tries to keep the subject in the center of the shot apple. There’s also talk of a periscope camera being added, which would allow for an increased optical zoom range image stabilization. They reportedly put a lot of work into improving the portrait mode by using data from the lidar for a cleaner separation between subject and background portrait mode will be available for videos as well.
